Before you book

Is Roca Tortuga for you?

Yes, if you want

  • Quiet, space and a view you never get tired of
  • Surf, fishing, diving trips to Coiba, waterfalls, horses
  • A slow week or a month to write, paint, work or rest
  • A simple house with character, run by a local caretaker

Probably not, if you need

  • Luxury finishes or hotel service
  • Nightlife, restaurants and shops nearby
  • A swimming beach in front of the house
  • A one- or two-night stopover

The house is older and rustic, and some outside areas are still being worked on. They are fenced off. We tell you this up front so you arrive knowing what to expect.
